Ongoing Community programs
Our regular weekly small group study meets every Thursday starting again on September 9 from 10:30 to 11:30. We look at a variety of community issues of various sorts and apply Biblical references and growing faith to the problems in order to create or suggest helpful solutions for people. If you are interested in learning more about these group studies, please check our page on this site to see what we are discussing and come join us! No Family Left Behind is a unique new program we will be offering in September. This webpage and Internet activity will be the primary sources for learners to find out about our program. The planned small group studies will offer the material, but physical participation will not be the only way to benefit from this program. This will be supplemented by weekday sessions to be arranged in the morning, in the afternoon or in the evening depending on community interest and availability. A sampling of topics includes bullying, career derailment as a result of senior care-giving and family support for various issues. Our small computer learning center will feature a Brain Fitness Program to help senior people to think more efficiently, focus better and remember things as they age. This will also be supplemented with a senior driving support program.Reaching Out
